My recent CT scan showed "Interval vague suspicious 13 mm and 8 mm hypoattenuating right lobe liver lesions." I meet with my oncologist next week to discuss the results. Anyone have liver lesions?

liver lesions
Hi, Marla,
I am into my sixth year with MBC; had liver lesions show up in past year. They shrunk with Enhertu which is my current protocol. My problem is that, while the liver is responding well, my tumor markers continue to rise. Oncologist currently investigating new protocol. God bless you and good luck! 💗💗🙏🏻🙏🏻

I do. Not much to do for. At least from my doc. I also have spinal lesions that are causing pain so were dealing with those first. I am on Ibrace and exemaston. I believe these drugs will help shrink all lesions. And yes scary I'm currently doing radiation. And it's tough to eat healthy when doing radiation. Nothing seems to sit well with my stomach. But I'll always say eating well during this time is key. I just wanna eat. I do have them I'm very early phase of Illness. Stage 4 breast nodes liver lungs and spine. Here's the things we have METS. it's all over. Nice thing is we don't necessarily have to do brutal chemo. We can live with this and shrink it. And prepay for remission. Be well. Have faith
I’ve had liver lesions since November 2021 and had to change from Ribociclib + letrozole to oral chemo at the beginning and now I’m on Abraxane. Our hope is always stability or remission of course!
I don’t- yet—- But I want to follow this thread.
Hi Marla, after 2 years of very small lesions in my chest / armpit lymph nodes (treated with Ibrance/Fulvestrant, and some targeted surgery/radiation), I had progression to my liver in December. I went on Xeloda (oral chemo pills) which so far has done a good job of shrinking the liver lesions. At the moment I feel well with no side effects. I’ve seen other people on here say Xeloda was effective for liver as well.
I found it really scary when it showed up in my liver, but feel calmer now. I hope your doctor will guide you to a good next step and wish you the very best in this next phase.
I too have had a liver lesion since Nov 2021. It has been shrinking slowly using a combination of ibrance and Fulvestrant. Unfortunately, they found 3 smaller tumors on my Oct. CT scan. Because the treatment plan has shrunk my liver tumor from 7.8 cm to 1.9 cm, they decided to continue the treatment hoping for complete remission for the liver. I had radiation for an impacted lymph node close to my aorta just before Christmas. There is no better source of support, comfort and information than the people who actively take part in this blog. I don't post often, but I absolutely value each and everyone of you. Wishing you all the best Marla!
Hello,
I have had lesions in my liver since we discovered my MBC in Nov. 2020. After Ibrance I switched to Piqray for a few months, Xeloda, and now I am on IV chemo called Gemzar. It can be stressful knowing it is in an organ but I have learned to co-exist with them the best I can and hope this chemo melts them away. I have never really had any pain other than a little fullness before starting this chemo, it’s now gone so hoping it’s working. Hang in there. ❤️

I have had liver kesiins since my MBC diagnosis in January 2021. Ibrance and Faslodex eliminated them forvabout 18 months. Then two appeared. I met with an interventional radiol
oops! Fat fingers this morning!
Radiologist and he zapped those lesions using liver ablation. Was NED thereafter until March of this year when he zapped two more. Perhaps doing lvercablation is an option for you?
I had one tny lesion he couldnt safely access and he said he’d go back for it later.
Hope this helps, and best wishes!
