kadcyla drug

Hi, I'm on Kadcyla. I've had 44 cycles and tolerate it very well. I'm stage iv. Age 65.
I've not lost any hair due to kadcyla.
In the early days I had muscle like pain for a few days each cycle. Apparently that's the drug doing its job and the cancer cells dying. Nowadays I experience fatigue for a few days. It doesn't upset my digestive system.
I have 3 monthly scan on my body and MRI on my brain. I had tiny brain mets whilst on Kadcyla though I'd been on a break from treatment due to having a cataract op. The brain mets were successfully treated with stereotactic radiotherapy and I stayed on Kadcyla.
Since then no evidence of active disease for over a year.
I hope this helps xx
hello
I was on Kadcyla for 8 cycles last year, it was a really easy drug combo, very few side effects. Unfortunately I got new brain mets so they moved me on to Enhertu which is more fatiguing and my hair is really thinning out, also bad nails... So definitely I recommend Kadcyla, hope you get to stay on it longer than me!!
Good luck, all the best
Lucy
