Hello to those on Lynparza. I started taking Lynparza 1st August this year. After 4 weeks, my CA15-3 went down from 139 to 95. But my blood test result for CA15-3 says it climbed to 200.
I would welcome any comments and ask those who have experienced this to please share their experience. Thank you.

Lynparza is for those with the BRCA 1 and 2 mutation so it will not work for everyone with MBC. Maybe that’s why you haven’t heard about it before because very few people in this forum are on it.
When my markers go up, I give it three months before I speak about a med change. If it were me, I’d give it three months and see if they drop again. Sometimes they go up before they come back down.
I just went back to when I first started Xeloda. I wanted to let you know my 15-3 went down the first month but shot up 100 points the second month to over 200. On the third month, it went down to 81. I have a feeling it may mean it’s doing its job. Please let me know what they are next month.
Please don't worry about at it at this point. To begin with, those numbers are very low. I started Lynparza last Aug '21. My markers were going steadily done to very low (for me) over all this time since I started but then over the last x2 bloodwork (every 6 weeks roughly) the numbers have very slightly increased. My doc is not worried at this point. And neither am I to be honest. As a comparison, my numbers had been going up over a year's interval when I was on ibrance before I switched off from it.
