Sorry to hear you are feeling down today. Glad you have Max to keep you company. I have Daisy a tawny colored cockerspaniel . She is the most loyal friend you can have. She is getting up in age though don't know how much longer she will be around. Some days you would never guess she is 14 but some days yes you can. I just take letrozole right now hoping to keep it that way for a long time. My husband and I have to watch the grand children today as schools and day cares have been shut down. They definitely ware me out. Take today and relax and rest hopefully tomorrow will be brighter with more energy!! 🌞🌈🌹🌷 HAPPY SPRING

Nice name Daisy, they are good company. Unfortunately one day we are all leaving this earth, some early some the right time.

Love children, dodn't have any grand kids, i am sure they keep you busy.

I do hope tomorrow it will be a different day for me, more energy more alive.

Enjoy your day with your family and anything else you choose to do.

HAPPY SPRING TO YOU TOO

Thank you so much

Hope you feel better tomorrow. Some days can get you like that, especially if you have overdone things.

What a sweet pup! I just love those little little paws! :). My sweet "pup" Ellie, Australian cattle dog/border collie mix (we think) is sticking to me like glue these days! My constant companion and best friend! Glad you have the same! :)

Hello!

I usually feel my worst at the end of my 3-week cycle of Ibrance; i.e the fatigue and the achy bones.

Like you, I have two little dogs who provide much comfort and company. Dogs are the best medicine! Hope you feel better soon!

Love and prayers! Linda

P.S. I have two children, a son, age 29; and a daughter, age 26. They are the best!!

Max looks like he is taking a nap. I think Cocid-19 is affecting everyone. Not nearly enough tests, staff, hospital beds, ventilators, etc. is scaring everyone especially in the U.S. where we don't get the truth from the White House and probably everyone is stressed. Blessings Hannah

Some days are better than others. I tell myself that would be true even without MBC. I use the excuse of the bad days to read, watch TV or nap and not feel bad for doing it. I tell myself the essentials can get done on the better days! So I guess what I learned is to make the bad days better by doing something I would feel guilty doing if I had more energy! Hugs, Elaine

I love the picture of Max - thanks for sharing.

I found it took me a while to settle on the meds but eventually I seemed to tolerate them well. I hope thing improve for you soon.

We all have a wobble and the ladies on this forum are all so kind & supportive.

Thank you for sharing a pic of your lovely pup. When I first began taking Ibrance/Letrozole, I found the third week brought on fatigue. Maybe this is the med doing their work healing you. I found it hard to rest. Rest when you are tired, treat yourself to a nap or meditate.

Hope your days get better. It’s hard getting used to some of these drugs...praying you’ll feel back to normal soon.

I had issues when I first went in ibrance. I tried it on and off for 3 cycles. It turned out I could not handle the dosage. Dropped to the lowest dose and seem to be tolerating it. Hope when I have my scans it will show that it is working. Always something to think about.....

Hello Alive!! It will get better . There are days where I feel better and I’m on the same treatment. It’s rough but you will get thru it. Exercise helps but rest as needed . Max to keep you company . For the bones I took Zometa infusions but stopped them recently for a break. I was taking them every theee months. I just had my Pet scan and it’s not lightening up and stable. I was diagnosed Sept 2018. Hang in there-it will pass!!!🙏❤️🌹

Hang in there! Allow your body to adjust. It gets better. I started with 125 Ibrance for three months and experienced dizziness, so we went to 100. It was much better. Healthy wishes.....

I too had this experience. I am reduced to 100mg and this is working well!

Sweet picture to make all of us 😊! Thank you for sharing! ❤️🙏❤️

When my bones hurt and I’m short of breath I tell myself the drugs are working and think of nice things I have done. I’m 70 now. It was hard when I first started taking Letrozole and Ibrance. I was tearful, moody, negative about everything. I’ve been on it a year now and it has been much easier. I’m on my 4th week of the cycle so no Ibrance. It’s due with my Denosumab jab on Wednesday. I can feel discomfort now but I know why. Take care and tell yourself your meds are working. Cheryl

You are lucky to have that wonderful little dog. He or she looks like such a sweet being.

Please stay positive and you will get results from your Ibrance and Letrozole. It takes time to feel normal on the drugs but you will eventually feel okay again. Keep taking it and eat a very healthy diet while you are doing the drugs. I am almost a vegan but a vegetarian most of the time. I also have a big cup of miso soup every day with fresh garlic. Miso is a powerful food. It was studied in Japan after the war when so many Japanese people suffered radiation sickness from the bombs. The people who ate or drank lots of Miso didn't suffer nearly the same level of radiation sickness as people who didn't drink it. So I think Miso is a good food to include while you are taking your cancer drugs. All the best to you and the little dog. Hugs Marlene

Hi there. You will likely adapt to the Ibrance Letrozole treatments. I have been on that combination for over a year and I feel quite good. I do sometimes feel the bones in my back but that might be from two compression fractures. Keep your spirits up and try to do some fasting. IF is good for you - or so I believe - it sure gives me extra energy. I also really try to eat nourishing foods. No more junk food for me. Max is very cute and I think he will be very good for you. I am sure he feels your sadness and wants you to feel better.

Sometimes I have more energy now than the few years preceding my diagnosis of mbc. I think I was getting sick for a long time. I really had no energy. Now I feel better than I did before. Except I am losing some hair but like you I am still alive and enjoying many things and people. My husband and I run a vacation rental business 8 months of the year. We haven't had many guests this year but I am optimistic that our business will be better next year. I actually don't mind the break. We are wearing our masks and practicing distancing and just trying hard to stay safe. Hugs Marlene
