This is really a terrible reflection on Bayer for dragging their feet on such a promising new drug. The bottom line here is Bayer opted to take a short term reward by reselling the license as opposed to taking a leading role in a potential cure for MBC after they dragged their feet on it for a year. Sorry to be so blunt but this is what we’re looking at folks. While I completely understand that R&D on new drugs often changes hand, that doesn’t change the facts here. The bigger picture however is positive. Instead of this drug continuing to be mired down under Bayer’s myopic management, we will now hopefully see more progress. Looking forward to future updates.

Thanks for your feedback. I am very angry that Bayer doesn’t explain the reason of holding the license for a year or so. But They did not resell the license. I believe Systems Oncology purchased it from the researchers. Bayer simply returned it to them. Hope they are looking for a new company now. Let’s hope!

Best,

Marina

I wonder if this has anything to do with Bayer backing out on Erso.

An article I saw

Wow, that is sure an interesting piece of information. Just as well Bayer is not handling it anymore. I am shocked that Bayer is the owner of Roundup. My god, I used Roundup in my yard on a very invasive weed. When my husband found out that I used it he was angry. He didn't believe we should be using it. He felt that all the hype about it being harmless was wrong. Wow! It was only a year or so after using it that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My god it is shocking to think that maybe there is a link from Roundup to my breast cancer. Thank you for this information Hugs Marlene

Hi Cureforever,

Yes, I might be able to sue Bayer but it would be hard to prove that my cancer is related to their product. I would have to be positive it was the cause. I don't know but I think it is so interesting that I used that round up and shortly after got breast cancer. I spend most of my time being grateful these days for how well I am doing and thanking you for introducing us the ErSo drug information.

I sure hope that anyone that can prove that Bayer caused their cancer gets a very big settlement.

I continue to be so grateful to you for trying to get this ErSo drug some publicity. I saw a young and beautiful celebrity on Chris Cuomo's show on CNN they other evening about November 23/21. She has be struggling with metastatic breast cancer for a couple of years. I believe her stage name is "Nightbird" - I think that was her name. She looks very fragile although it seems she is getting much better. If we got in touch with her maybe she could promote the ErSo drug for us. We could use some publicity. And someone famous would help us give the people who are responsible for clinical trials some encouragement to get going on this.

I will see if I can locate an email for her. Hugs Marlene

Hi Marlene for your reply. I am glad that you are doing better. We at our Facebook group are still doing a lot of outreach to promote the ErSO. The researchers sound very positive. They are saying that Systems Oncology that owns the ErSO license is looking for a company to put it through human trials.Bo am a little nervous that the SO is not replying to our emails but One member sent me a message saying that on San Antonio breast cancer symposium in December the Systems Oncology has a very nice display like an information booth about ErSO. It’s very encouraging. It means ErSO is live and well.Let’s hope,

Best,

Marina

Hi Sandra, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The member of our group said that SO is not among speakers but they have a display which is like a booth at a trade show. It was too late for them She said that she saw the display (I do not know how it is possible) and that it is very professional and attention grabbing.

Any reluctance in replying to our enquiries could very well be motivated by the fact that SO can't drive the drug into trials themselves and are looking for another partner, and their radio silence is justified by the sensitivity of this search.

All three researchers directly involved with ErSO hinting to a delay in moving forward on the Bayer side, rather than efficacy/toxicity issues hampering the development of ErSO - should this be really the case, the compound is alive and well.

I still have hope

Best,

Marina

I continue to be hopeful. I just believe this will turn out well. How on gods green earth can they ignore all the beautiful women in this world with mbc if there is a cure. It would be a great outrage. I know I will be a great roar if they ignore us. And there could be many law suits if they drag their heals on this potentially healing and life saving drug. I am not on Face Book unfortunately so I don't get to see what is currently happening. But I appreciate what you tell us here at HealthUnlocked. Thank you. Hugs Marlene
