Hi wonderful people,

I know that many people on this board contacted Bayer and FDA in regards to ErSO going into clinical trials. I wonder if anyone got any reply. Some people have been asking how to contact FDA. If someone did this please share your experience and information. I hope we will get more news about ErSO soon. I am glad that a very good video came out on October 1 because all articles were published around July and August and nothing has been published since that time. Let’s share information Good luck to all of us !!!

I got this Marina, it doesn't really say much :(

Thank you for contacting Bayer about ErSO.

The compound is still in the early preclinical stages of development. While we try to move our compounds through development as quickly as possible, we have to take prudent steps to ensure the compounds are safe and provide the benefits we are striving to achieve. Because of these necessary steps, the drug is not currently available for trial in humans, nor is it possible to state when or where these trials will commence. They will be registered in clinicaltrials.gov should ErSO proceed onto human trials.

Danny, i already commented on this response. I communicate with the University Professor who also develops the drugs. He developed the compound fx68 but has difficulty funding it. His compound works in conjunction with chemotherapy. I consult with him about ErSO

I sent him the latest reply from Bayer. This is his reply (below)

About the last email and the reply from Bayer:

As mentioned earlier, the Company is proceeding with caution - but they are also trying to convey that it takes time to start a phase-I clinical trial - It is of course very hard if not impossible to predict, since we are not aware of the additional pre-clincial and toxicity data - but I would guess that between 8 to 12 months will pass before the Phase-I can begin. If this is true, this would still be one of the fastest process ever for moving a compund from the pre-clinical space into the clinic.

Best,

Marina

At least there is a time line mentioned now.

No This is just a guess. It’s not the professor who invented ErSO. This is a different scientist. I consult with him and he gives me answers based on his knowledge and expertise.

Well, a guess is better than none😊 But from what I am reading from the different posts and articles, interest in ErSO is gaining pace and it should spur Bayer to fast track their Rand D.

Hi Rand D. I hope you are right. What are you reading ? Please share. I read many articles that came around July and August when the original study was published in the Journal of Translational medicine. I started the ErSO forum on inspire and then here to give people hope. Since that time I saw only one video that was posted here. It came out on October 1.

Good luck to all of us!!! Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for cure! It’s time already to end breast cancer.

Hi Danny,Keep communicating with that person and hopefully he/she will send you some personalized emails. Keep asking questions. As I said I got this generated email first, then I started replying and communicating with that man who sent me the generated email. I kept asking questions and he was answering. His latest email I copied for you. I may post it for everyone.

Good luck

Hi Danny?I saw you posted this a month ago on inspire. Did you communicate with that person afterwards? I got the same email first. It’s a generated one. Then I started communicating with that person asking him questions and our conversations became personalized. What was a title of the person you got this email from?

Please keep in touch.

Best,

Marina

Hi wonderful people,Some people received a generated email. I first received it as well but then I started communicating with that person by asking questions and emails got more personalized. He was actually answering my questions. When I asked him if the drug can be approved faster in countries other than USA, he said that actually now FDA approves it faster than the rest of the world. I know that some people contacted FDA. Please share information

The latest reply from Bayer is at the end of the post. I hope it will go to human trials. I do not like the part in () Even if the decision is made… I can’t imagine that such successful study wouldn’t go to human trials. I believe they are using precautions. Please share information when you get some. Some of you emailed to Professor Shapiro who developed ErSO and got the generated answer. He was mentioning the contact at Bayer Rose Talarico. She doesn’t reply. I sent my email to the CEO and also filled out the inquiry form on the contact us page.

Please find the latest information from B—r

“Unfortunately, there is no new information at this time. However, it is hoped (but can’t be promised) that there will be enough information by the end of the year to make a decision regarding ErSO. I have asked the team to inform me as soon as possible so that I can inform you.

Given that information, I would suggest that you explore some other opportunity in the interim (even if the decision is made to move forward, it will take at least several months to get the protocol approved and trial sites open).

I know that every day of waiting may seem like an eternity for someone suffering so much as yourself but there are regulatory and legal steps that need to be taken.”

I hope together we will succeed. Please share information if you get some.

Good luck to everyone!!!

Hi wonderful people,I communicate with the Professor who develops drugs for mbc. Not the group that developed ErSO. He is knowledgeable in how it goes with NEDs. I sent him the answer I received from Bayer. Here is his comment (below)

“As mentioned earlier, the Company is proceeding with caution - but they are also trying to convey that it takes time to start a phase-I clinical trial - It is of course very hard if not impossible to predict, since we are not aware of the additional pre-clinical and toxicity data - but I would guess that between 8 to 12 months will pass before the Phase-I can begin. If this is true, this would still be one of the fastest process ever for moving a compound from the pre-clinical space into the clinic. “

I still hope it will be sooner than he predicts.

Good luck to all of us!!!
