Yes, I read the something yesterday about erso, but it was on pubmed was from March 2022 here is the link pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/350... I was looking to see if it came up during the San Antonio BC Symposium 2022, as my doctor here in Spain went to it and was presenting information. Thanks Trish for the update! Let's hope that by the end of the year we can all see a bit of light with regards to an actual cure with no recurrance of the disease. What good news this is!

Just wanted to add that I am surprised that ErSO Activism manager Danny Goss has not delivered the good news here and I would also like to know if this is truly the same drug erso or did they simply change the name because of the bayer pullout. I also noticed that on the SO page, there is no profile of the Dr. Shapiro, whom is one of the founders of the original erso drug. Interesting isn't it?

They do refer to Dr. Shapiro and University of Illinois in the about SERA section.

The photos and bios are the regular staff of Systems Oncology, down to fairly low level employees who have nothing to do with scientific research. They bought the patent from UofI and brought in the scientists there who discovered/created the mechanism for research collaboration. They still need to partner with a pharmaceutical and were looking for partners at the conference. So...this is a first step.

What made me a little uncomfortable is that the CEO is also a board member. (The scientific advisory board is separate.) Usually the board is the "boss" of the CEO.

Yes, I saw the reference, but no actual profile. Just curious why not since he is one of the original founders of the drug.

Thank you Trish. Hope this is available soon. That's the issue. It takes so long to become available to us!

No human trials yet, though. I'll be interested on seeing those numbers! Go ILLINI! (My Alma mater)

This makes me SMILE from the INSIDE OUT!! I’m a newbie to this journey (diagnosed April of this year). My GREATEST HOPE is that, somehow, a treatment can be found to actually STOP progression while we are ALL still ALIVE!! This gives me so much HOPE!!

Thank You so much for making my Christmas EXTRA SPECIAL!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️

Hello Trissh- I have searched to find updates on this and they only stuff found was that they presented at the J.p. Morgan conference and twitter people stated that it would take up to 2 years now. Ugh...No information if they got any pharma companies to back them. Have you heard anything?

The following in quotes is the latest from the FB group that stays in touch with Systems Oncology and I follow Dirk the Cancer Fighter on Twitter who says much the same. I have heard nothing about a 2 year timeframe... who do you follow on Twitter where you learned that?

"ErSo Activism for Breast Cancer

Olga Victoria Faynerman · 1h ·

I just received a note from Paul Hergenrother:

Hi Olga,

Thanks for your note. The intention was never for SO to give a public presentation at JPM, but to meet privately with interested parties. From what I know all those meetings went off as expected, I have not heard about the outcome but I’m sure there will be an announcement at some point. I think everything is still moving forward as expected, thanks, feel free to keep checking back, and best regards,"
