I read this artible about a couple weeks ago and have been meanting to post this to see if anyone knows of any trials. Or might be in any trials regarding this. A snippet from the article.

Now, in the latest study, the researchers further evaluated one derivative, ErSO-TFPy, and found that it:

Effectively killed multiple human ER+ breast cancer cell lines in culture.

Was well tolerated, with no obvious deleterious effects, by multiple species (mice, rats and beagles).

Shrank transplanted human breast tumors of various genetic backgrounds in mice.

for those interested here is the article I read.

Thank you for sharing. I hope they continue to investigate.

Yes, I'm in a FB group for this drug. They had to develop it further because apparently the original form of it caused (presumedly in the mice) what would be unacceptable side effects. But the new form of it, which has quite a different name now (TEQ103), is supposed to be opening up for first human trials later this year.

Thanks for sharing. From what I have read it seems to have morphed or been enhanced since discovering ErSO. I will look more into TEQ103.

I was able to find out the trials internet searching that TEQ103 trials are expected to start in the 2nd half of 2025

What is the name of that Fb group? They have been following this medication for years. Did you once get in touch with the researchers at U. of I.?

I haven’t been involved, just following the developments. But the FB group is:

TEQ103 Activism for Breast Cancer

Oh, that's a new one, based on this latest development. The one I had heard of was following this since Bayer, name was something about a cure, but I will definitely check this one out.

Yes Im not sure why they started a new group. I don’t think the old one is really keeping up with current progress now (though I could be wrong about that!)

That sounds promising. Thanks for the information. Dare to dream, and let's hope research funding holds up.

I posted about this a few weeks ago. I had both the scientific publication on it and the statement from the pharmaceutical developing it, Oncoteq. I also posted the question - how to advance one's chances of getting into a clinical trial. I asked my oncologist. No answer (but then, she rarely answers questions). I inquired about getting on some list at Dana Farber - no luck; they only could determine whether they had any clinical trials for which I am eligible this moment. Wish I had some contacts in the biochem world. -- Note that the mouse study was funded by NIH. If there is more they have to do before the clinical trial, one wonders if their funding is intact. Once it is ready for clinical trials, Oncoteq will foot the bill. It is just in the early development stage that researchers are dependent on grants, especially federal.

I remember reading your post but was not aware these were the same drugs. It seems at times I tend to forget things quit frequently. Thanks for pointing this out. I will go back and read your thread as well.

Thank you so much for posting this information. I have been battling MBC for almost 7 years now, and currently on Enhurtu infusions every three weeks. I have been on this for 7 months, and have been stable for 5 months. I have a chronic, low grade cancer that does not affect me physically, which I am very greatful for, but dread thought of having to be on treatment for the rest of my life. I am forever hopeful for a treatment that will deliver that " knock out" punch for good! BTW, I first had breast cancer 25 years ago, had a successful treatment, was pronounced "cured", and had a lovely respite for 20 years, before those nasty buggers (same cancer cells) reared their ugly heads again. It's time to say Bye Bye cancer! I'm positive the cure is coming so we can all say Bye Bye ! 👋
