Stage 4 since Dec/2019 and still loving life! Went to Grand Canyon for my “63rd” birthday and enjoyed every minute! Saw Donny Osmond in Las Vegas and just celebrated how wonderful life can be! I appreciate all the posts and encouraging words from those who understand and know what we are all going through. I try to wake up every day with a thankful heart, and am grateful for a looong goodbye I’m praying for! Blessings to you all!! 🥰🙏🏻

God is Good!
Gorgeous picture! Made me smile x
You look absoutly amazing! Keep on ENJOYING LIFE!!!! I also turned 63 this year! I was at the north rim of the canyon back in June . I to feel I'm going to keep traveling and enjoying the great outdoors . This year my husband and I did the mighty 5 in Utah added the grand canyon to the list. I went to Kingsport Tennessee to visit my sister and went ziplining!! And last week my husband and I went up through Vermont and New Hampshire up mount Washington on the cog train. They said that they only get two clear days a year up top and we where lucky we got one of them. The fall colors where wonderful!! Plus we where on the top for sunset. Gorgeous!!!
No way…zip lining? Good for you! Sounds like you have some amazing photos to share! Doesn’t 63 seem much younger than we use to think- LOL!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventures as well! This site has helped me connect with others going through my exact journey, but with an attitude of gratefulness. We have a different perspective now on life, and see simple things in a new light of gratitude! Keep on enjoying life yourself! 😘🙏🏻😍👍🏻
I agree I can't imagine my mom doing the stuff I do at 63. I think our generation seems to dress and act younger then previous generations.
Grand Canyon is on my bucket list! 😀
The Grand Canyon is so beautiful ! And your top fits right into the gorgeous scenery. Love your attitude !
It’s a reminder that I need to adjust mine lol
Keep smiling !

Thanks! Wear “flowing” tops because I wear two Nephrostomy bags underneath. My cancer pressed against tubes in my bladder, and I now have lovely bags underneath that I am thankful for because they’re working to keep my creatin levels down with my kidneys! I always look for the silver lining in situations…well, on my 3-hour flight in a helicopter and spending time in the Grand Canyon, didn’t have to worry about going to the bathroom with my Nephrostomy bags! 👍🏻😉One day I hope they can be internalized, but if not, I’ve come to accept them as part of my journey! It truly is about waking up each day just thankful to be alive and feeling good…days I never take for granted! Blessings to you! 🥰🙏🏻
Thanks so much! I learn something new every day. Didn’t know what “de novo” meant until I googled it!
Thankful we have many options of drugs to keep us going just one more day…that then turns into a year…and hopefully, many, many years to come!! 🙏🏻😘❤️
Love, love, love your attitude! 👍🏻🥰🙏🏻❤️
Donny Osmond, hmm? Which makes you either a little bit country or a little bit of rock & roll?
Can’t remember which one he liked back then. 😀
Always Rock & Roll! 👏🏻👍🏻💜
