MBC and today’s trip with a wonderful walk

Had a nice walk in Caldbeck Cumbria aided by my new walking poles. Thanks Clare and Sandra for the advice. They made me feel secure

Absolutely wonderful photo, so tranquil. Glad the poles help.I have just seen to 2 bright planets from my bedroom window. They were the only things shining, lovely and thanks for pointing them out

That’s wonderful Clare. We see the various planets quite a lot on clear nights at home hence the Stargazer app. Lifts my spirits and I call them my guiding light. Haven’t seen them again but will have a look outside in a little while

Snow already. Pretty to look at but not so good under foot Sandra. Thank goodness in Liverpool we really have minimal snow fall. We are near the water to which apparently helps. We did have part of the Mersey freeze last year.I expect my Oncologist would advise the same Sandra but he was sick with Covid Friday and I saw a Junior doctor who didn’t blink an eyelid when I told him what kind of break we were having. The poles are great and just wish I had them sooner. The pleasures of being on here. We find out so much by default.

Looks beautiful and so tranquil ! Glad you got the poles ... I must invest in some too ! I previously did a Nordic walking class on holiday in the U.K. and the poles were loaned , but I enjoyed the session very much . You may be able to find some group Nordic walks when back home ! x
