Botox with MBC?

Before my Stage IV diagnoses in April 2019, I was getting Botox injections between my eye brows 2-3x per year. This reduced the lines between my eyebrows. I asked my Oncologist if I could continue with Botox. He said there is no research on how it affects someone on IBrance/Faslodex/Xgeva. Is anyone doing Botox injections? Have you had any side effects? I look forward to your responses!

I’ve never had Botox but a friend of mine does it so I’ll ask her

I can’t see it being a problem though as it’s not systemic and is very localised

Hi. I have essential tremor in my head and my hand shakes. I get Botox shots in my head and ones in my right hand. Not for cosmetic reasons. My oncologist knows and doesn’t comment as being bad. Hope this helps. Thanks Reenie

Hi. I see my neurologist for shots every 3 months. He does large muscle Botox. It’s a specialty. Not all hand tremors can be helped. Good luck. Check with your hospital for the right physician.

I get dysport 2 to 3 times a year. I have had no side effect at all and my oncologist never said anything about it. You’re safe so keep making yourself beautiful 🤗

I have been putting Botox between myEyebrows every six months. I’ve had no side effects I’ve been on I Brandts in a room and ask for the last two years. I asked the internal medicine Doctor Who actually gives me the Botox injections and he said there’s no problem he’s ever seen

I have had Botox during Ibrance. I always waited until my numbers were better and had it during my best week. But my onco , Lombardi 44 years, said he had not seen any problem with other patients. So i think you are safe. Note, I had same problem between my eyebrows but once I had eyebrows micro bladed I no longer notice the frown dip! Mind you, I only had micro blade done after I stopped Ibrance

there you go. I would seriously consider micro blading by someone really good, look at other people and ask. I was shocked how I no longer needed to get botox for my inbetween eyebrow frown.

I had microblading during ibrance but on the week I’m off it. 21 days and 7 off. I was told to have anything done dentist etc during the latter part of the week off.

I do with no problems. My oncologist said do it right when I restart Ibrance as white count is higher.
