Beautiful photo of a beautiful area I hope to see one day! Such a contrast from my view in Saskatchewan - our river is lovely covered in snow, but we're longing for spring now.

Hi Cheryl, beautiful pic! It sent me down a rabbit hole looking for a similar photo I took two years ago in a place called Paradise in the South Island of NZ! 😊 How are you doing? Are you still on Exemestane and Everolimus? They didn’t work for me so I’ve moved on to Fulvestrant shots. I already have my sense of taste back which I’m so grateful for. My nails really are a mess now but hopefully will grow out eventually. No more weight loss either. I do have a sore butt after the loading dose but I have a months reprieve now so after five weeks I have just travelled back to Budapest. Take care. 🌻

Hi, I wish you had found the photo. I love the beautiful scenery. Keep looking. No I’m off the Exemestane and Everolimus. I saw my Oncologist yesterday and the Cancer has grown in my Liver and Lungs. Not drastically but the drugs have stopped working. So I’m now on a drug holiday until my blood results for Liver Enzymes is back. Hoping I can start on oral Chemo but not sure what or the dosage. I was beginning to feel tired and knew something wasn’t right. Strange how we sense these things. So the next couple of weeks will reveal all.

I also had a very sore butt. My weight steady nicely and I could taste food again on the lower dose. My nails are awful. Soft and split. I bought nail strengthening polish and that did nothing.

I really wanted to travel to Budapest by train. We had sorted out our journey and hotel and then we went into Lockdown. That put pay to the journey. So end of May we have booked a cruise up the Norwegian Fjords. We have been before. This time is special as it’s our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I just hope things don’t change between now and then re travelling.

Take great care and I hope your new meds are working ok.

Best wishes

Cheryl
