I started taking letrozole right before bedtime several weeks ago. I did this to avoid the dizziness that I had been sometimes during the day. But now I’m having hot flashes just about every night. Thinking I’ll go back to taking it in the morning when I get up. Would really appreciate your thoughts on this!

When to take letrozole?
Hi I take mine on an evening too but I suffered with hot flushes before I started taking it thanks to having early menopause started. I'm taking meds for the hot flashes-I believe it's called clonidine. You could ask your oncologist about taking meds for hot flushes x
I take mine in the morning and haven't noticed any side effects. I also get some hot flushes at night but I don't think that it is Letrozole-related. I am always amazed at how differently each of us is affected by the same medication. Must make drug trials so hard to interpret!
Hi thereI have always taken mine at night. I get hot flashes which plagued me at the beginning 2 years ago. Being slammed into menopause by injections didn’t help. They have calmed down a lot and I don’t get them so much during the day. I sleep with a fan blowing on me even in the winter, which is also a great help

Hello, I had hot flashes for a while when I started, but they wore off after a month or so.. Hope yours do too.
I take mine with ibrance with my breakfast. X
I take mine at dinner time along with my Ibrance. I have not really had hot flashes with it though, just some joint pain in the mornings. When I was on Arimidex for 5 years I had a lot of issues with hot flashes. Best wishes in getting these under control.
I take anastrozole in the morning with food and all my other vitamins and supplements. I haven’t experienced any unwanted effects. Hope this works for you!
I think you need to find what works for you, I take mine in the morning without issue and I ensure I take it with food. I already went through menopause after 5 years on tamoxifen
