Hi. I read your wonderful, supportive posts daily, but seldom post myself. I was diagnosed with MBC in January 2021, mets to liver only. Have been taking Ibrance 125 and Faslodex and tolerating both well.
I had my second brain MRI and PET scan last week. MRI clear. PET showed no liver mets visible! Yay! But there was an uptake in the lining of my uterus. My Onc doesnt know if it is cancerous or not. I’m having a transvaginal ultrasound this morning.
Has anyone ever been in this situation!
Thanks, and blessings to all.

Wow! That is a lot for you to absorb and process. Welcome to the club that none of us wants to be in. We are all here for each other. Yes, I had one of those transvaginal ultrasounds. It was frightening for me. Happily, it was not cancer. Good luck tomorrow and please let us know how you make out.
By now you probably have had the biopsy done. It can be very uncomfortable but doesn't take long. I know Tamoxifen can cause thickening of the uterus wall. Also, I believe there is a natural thickening that takes place as we age. One of the first signs of disease is bleeding. Hope you get a quick answer. Let us know.
Thank you for the responses. The dr thinks it might be a fibroid. Couldnt say for certain. It is in a place where getting a biopsy sample would be very difficult. So I’m going to have a hysterectomy in a couple of weeks. That is 100% fine with me. I have wanted one for a long time, but it was never medically necessary so insurance (including Medicare) wouldnt pay for it.
I pray whatever it is isnt cancerous. I will remain positive until I have a reason not to be. I am thrilled by the liver mets results!
The fibroid was benign! Dr found an abscess from a 3+ year old former surgery and believes that it what caused the uptake. Thank you all for your continuing prayers! ♥️♥️♥️
