New Ibrance Tablets

Have you experienced new side effects with the Ibrance tablets verses the capsules? I don't know if my "night sweats" are worse ? And I have gained an extra 3-4 pounds and am bloated.

I think I have had more mouth sores and tummy trouble with the tablets. Otherwise everything is the same.

Have had more mouth sores and low neutrophils. Currently in a 2 week hold to restart Ibrance, checking neutrophils again on Monday, hope to be able to restart then, never had this kind of trouble with the capsules. Does anyone know why Pfizer changed from capsule to tablet?

I never had to do this, but I know of other women who have put the tablets inside one of the tiny marshmallows before putting in into their mouths and have swallowed it that way so the tablet doesn't really touch the mouth.

Effexor, the long acting kind, have kept hot flashes controlled for me. Ask your onc about that. Also--know that Ibrance can cause serious and permanent lung damage--if you develop anything lung related, like shortness of breath, difficulty breathing in humid air, call your onc ASAP, like on Saturday afternoon ASAP. I was on Ibrance for a few cycles in 2016, before Pfizer added a warning about this, and developed something called Interstitial Lung Disease, described by my pulmonologist as like " gunk between the air sacs." So now I am on two "puffers" and have another medical specialist to see.

Day 4 of taking tablets and having stomach/upper bowel pain. Not sure what to make of it. 😕
