Bright yellow urine

Good morning,

I’ve noticed the last three or four days that my urine is bright yellow what concerns me is that I just started on the Ibrance pill. I used to take the capsule. Has anyone else noticed a difference in their urine color after switching from the capsule to the pill?

One more thing, I do take letrozole too. Could this be a side effect?

Thank you all so much for being here

Are you taking a B supplement? Am on Ibrance and letrozole too and not experiencing that. It does make everything in my body dry - dry skin, chapped lips. Make sure you are drinking lots and lots of water.

Yes I am taking a B-complex. I thought it might be because I changed from the capsule to the tablet. It is definitely the B-complex. It is so crazy how once you have cancer everything and every change in your body put you on high alert.

Thank you so much for your guidance.

I take both and don’t have a problem. My Ibrance is still a capsule.

Hi Christina,

I'm not on ibrance, so I can't comment on that, but I do take letrozole. I noticed my urine had turned bright yellow after starting a Coenzyme B complex. I narrowed it down to that, as I take a break from most supplements over the weekend. I am staying on it though, on the advice of my integrative doctor. It's really helped with the peripheral neuropathy that I was experiencing. Both hands would turn numb, sometimes while I was driving.

Yes to the B complex. I believe (not sure) that’s when you have more than you need and your body is flushing the excess out.

Vitamin B can certainly do that.

Drink lots of water and lots more water. It will help get chemo out of your system. Blessings Hannah
