After three weeks of weekly doses of Abraxane my hair is falling out everywhere. So later today my daughter will shave it. I love my hair so thought I'd get my husband to take a photo to remind me that I've been bald before but that it always grows back. Looking forward to next April when I will hopefully have some hair for the wedding (covid prrmitting) 😀

Say goodbye to my hair (for the third time)
What a beautiful photo! Your hair is lovely and I'm sure you'll miss it - again. However, what I see most is a lovely smile and gorgeous eyes. Hang in there. The wedding will be here before you know it and so will your hair.

I think you will be beautiful without hair. You mention you have Abraxane weekly. May I ask what the dose is. I have been in Abraxane since May but I get it monthly.
Oh dear I don’t know the dose, sorry. I will ask the nurse next Wednesday. I know it is a small dose as every week. Will get back to you. 😀
No worries. Just wondering why mine was being given differently. Always second guessing my oncologist
You are beautiful now and we be just as beautiful bald. We can be baldie sisters. This is my second go around. Been bald for 2 months now. I just posted a picture a little bit ago.
Hugs

Just checked out your photo. So lovely of the two of you x
Lovely pic ... it doesn’t seem that long since you posted your shaved head at your daughter’s graduation ( I remember it as you said your wig blew off !! ) So I’m sure it will grow back soon again ! x
Your beautiful with or without you've got a million dollar smile.💖
BangorBelle56! You're gorgeous! I hesitate to say this, but to lose hair that beautiful is a shame! (as compared to me losing mine, which would probably be a gift! )
You have an absolutely beautiful smile and a twinkle in your eye. Loosing hair is emotional— I’m starting to do my own version of a “comb-over” to cover my scalp on the top of my head. Your beauty will shine whether you have hair or not!🌸
You look lovely with or without hair❤️
Wow This photo shows Beauty personified, and I am writing about more than hair..
I am learning so much here. Thank you
Hi Ruth,
Your hair looks pretty and so do you. I think it’s a good idea to take a picture to remind you of how you look and how you will look again when your hair grows back. Do you have some colourful hats or scarves you can experiment with? Or maybe some of those pretty turbans with flowers and other nice designs.
Sophie
My daughter bought me two lovely hats with ‘diamonds’. They will be great for the winter 😀
That sounds lovely! 💐
You will look just as lovely rocking your beautiful bald head!! Did you find that your hair came back different each time? Mine initially came in snow white and wispy but eventually changed back to the same as it always was.
You do have a lovely face and will look fab in your hats. Good to remember how your hair comes back, I remember how excited I was first time round when I spotted the first signs of new growth while I was still on chemo.

Just lovely! That smile and those sparkling eyes will see you thru. I will probably be going onto Xeloda before too long. My oncologist wants to start me now but I am insisting on staying on Ibrance/Faslodex till the next scan. (2-3 months time.)
When does your hair grow back? Do you change meds or do you just get used to the medication.?
Cheers, June S.
You are beautiful !
You are beautiful. I had my head shaved when I started losing my hair during my first dx. We do know it grows back...as yours will for the wedding more beautiful than even now! Nice to have a beautiful event to look forward to.
You Look BEAUTIFUL!! You really give me hope that if I need to take chemo that I won't look like and feel like death warmed over! You look happy and just plane wonderful . Chemo scares me so bad and I think that is where I'm headed . Will find out on Nov 5 what my next step is. Thanks for posting you give me so much hope.
Hi
A beautiful pic, such lovely eyes, skin & smile..
I love hats and wear daily when walking my dog! I especially love fedoras ... I have loads in nearly every colour.
How lovely to have a wedding to look forward to.
Take care
Jo xx
BangorBelle56,
You are beautiful both ways, although you may not see it right now❣️
Best!

I absolutely agree with the others here who write how beautiful your eyes and smile are! And I have noticed that around here, at least, I see alot more women out in public with their baldness showing, more than when I was first diagnosed 16 years ago.. When I got the bc diagnosis, one of the first things I did was visit a wig salon, recommended to me by an acquaintance who always wore a wig and was extremely private about having bc. I orderfed a wig very much like my own hair, and in a large size. (My husband and brother enjoyed teasing me about having a big head! lol I'm glad my family enjoys humor, as I do, about all this cancer stuff.) Anyway, losing hair was obviously one of my very first thoughts after getting the diagnosis, which went on to include bone mets and stage 4. Then I learned that the cancer was E + and I would be unlikely to lose my hair, so I cancelled the wig. Ironically, I lost hair just about every where there is hair except for my head. I don't have to shave anymore, and I have to "enhance" my eyebrows. I was able to find a great set of eyebrow shapers, I can't think of the real word, that have different shapes cut out as a guide for using brow powder. Revlon makes the shapers I ordered on line, and I use good ol fashioned Maybelline powder. I hope you will do well in treatment and enjoy whatever head covers you have, and have hair again soon and know just how great your face looks, with or without hair! Sending best wishes, love and prayers......
Thank you so much. Having a bad day and have given and come up to bed. So many chemos one after the other just feels too, much some times😢
You are beautiful Sister. 💕💝🎀
Your hair may be falling out, but you look like a picture of health!
