The halo hair extensions.

I know some of you are or have lost hair. I just got mine done and it’s so thin. I know it’s just hair but it’s a part of you. My stylist suggested this as it’s very easy and quick. If you decide to get them get good hair. My stylist is going to order them and put them in so I get right color. She also can cut it to fit my length. My guess is it will be expensive but for me I feel I need to pamper myself at this point. I’m going to be on these meds forever why not have hair. Just me, I always had thick hair now so thin and I don’t want to cut it.

Really? Everyone I know loves their halo extensions. The one that goes in like a headband? I was considering the fall. I can get the fall at cost (not retail) so I was considering if I thin. But Jon Renau has toppers that I’ll check reviews on.

I guess some people lose there hair and some don’t. I was on Ibrance for only 3 weeks and it started falling out. The Faslodex also for me is thinning my hair like crazy. Your way younger so maybe you won’t lose your hair. Even at my age my hair was thick and long and I still had extensions for special occasions. Now I’m like that was crazy with all that hair I had. Oh how things change.😮

I know how you feel Clair19! I have never had thick hair, but being on Ibrance it has really thinned. I had a almost shoulder length bob & just recently cut my hair short! I did try extensions (before this diagnosis) just didn't work or look right on me. But seriously, the only time I looked good was when I lost my hair & wore a wig! I'm so close to buying one now!

The halo is like wearing a headband with hair. You said you got your hair cut short you can still wear the halo. I’m very vain and worry about my looks. I wish I just didn’t care to be honest. It’s like my exercise high taking on my hair and getting facials and Botox. It might not be the important thing but to me it helps this depressed state.

Looking good and wanting to look good isn’t vain! I know for me it’s important because then I physically feel good. Doing my hair, nails, etc is sort of therapy for me ( I’m not just referring to appointment but the good feeling afterwards)🤗

Greeeteeeeeeetings Warrior/Sisters Thank God for beauty supply stores that allow us to

have so many options. Women have been raised to believe your hair is an important part

of your beautification process, and that it is our crown and glory, in almost all cultures.

Well it use to take me 4 hours to do my crown, and glory, especially after a good drip down work out. I refuse to sit in a beauty salon for hours, only to sweat my hair out 2 days later.I have always been good at perming, cutting, natural coloring, conditioning and styling my hair with a bathroom double mirror set up. Growing up I would do my mom, and sisters hair, but now I refuse to spend this kind of time on my hair or anybody else, at this stage of my life

I do make wigs for me, and my mom, and I do customize wigs, and weaves for me , and my mom with easy on off mini clips. Sisters/Warriors go on You Tube with any hair problem, and there will be a solution. Yes I can wear my synthetic natural looking wigs in the water, with 4-6 mini hair clips. Make sure you corn braid your hair down, I do four easy corn rows, and make sure you, condition and, take care of your natural hair. I can even submerge my head under water with no worries of it floating off my head.

Warriors there are even eyebrow extensions that look completely real. I wake up with no worries/concerns about my hair. My question is which wig-er weave persona I will be, and wear today. I do beautify my natural real hair for special occassions. Nooooooooooooooo more 4 hours hair preparation. 40 seconds to wig-er weave Yesssssssssssssssssss. Thank you Lord/God.

Sister/Warriors I hope this information has helped you. God knows the importance of hair to us as we navigate this journey, but a cure is most definitely our main concern/priority Amen, Amen, and yes Amen.

Really I’m very impressed! I can’t even color my hair anymore...😞...Just don’t have the patience. I have had weave, braids and wigs. I know cancer is the most important part but keeping my spirits high helps the battle.

Clair19 thank you for sharing this information. It’s not just hair, and good for you for doing something for you my sweet. We need to look good or as normal as possible on the outside since we will be battling everyday on the inside. I am on my third month of ibrance and I can see it falling out every time I wash it and I never took time on my hair. Wash and wear, but now that I see it falling it bothers me. It’s not noticeable yet, but I am worried it will be. Has anyone else that is on ibrance have noticeable hair loss? Is this something that happens to all or is it something that depends on the person?. If it gets noticeable I would do something for sure to make it better, affordability is a problem for me and most, I believe. Let’s keep getting these great ideas out there so we all can learn. Thanks for sharing everyone, keep it coming.

Hi Clair, if my hair were thinking I would look into the hair extensions. I will start my 5th cycle of ibrance soon, but my hair hasn't changed too much. I may not be on it much longer it will depend on this new lung biopsy to determine hormone status. I could end up on chemo and then may need a wig. How are things going with the new targeted therapy?

Hi claire. My hair has thinned out on the ibrance and fadlidex and I hate it!!! Especially in the front and bangs. I cut it a little bit the bang area is very thin. I don’t know if the halo band would be good for me but will look into it.

Hi Clair. I bought and used a halo but my hair has thinned out so much it doesn’t cover it anymore. I moved on to wigs which I am having fun wearing. I am thinking about getting these new hair extensions that are tied in.
