Just need to share good news! After two months my cancer markers are down!
CA125 from 42 to 17 and CA15-3 from 436 to 299.
I'm thrilled and oncologist said no need to rush into more scans yet until its safer as I'm responding so well. Yippee. But I am a realist and know it may not always be like this, but at the moment I'm celebrating. Couldn't get hold of family or best friends on the phone so I thought, who else will appreciate how I feel. 😀

Hi Beryl,
I'm pleased to hear of your good news. I bet your family and friends will be too when you let them know. Any piece of good news needs to be celebrated!
Thanks for sharing, your good news is a great way to start the day! Glad you are celebrating, enjoy the summer and all your hobbies.
Beryl!
That's fantastic news! And now you know that you're responding well to the treatment, which is great (I think not everyone does respond...based on the "progression-free-survival" charts which show that many women have to change after just a couple/few months!). So your cancer is apparently shrieking in horror as it faces these drugs!
Glad to hear you want to come back. We visited Florida for seven winters before the health insurance got to expensive because of our age and health. That was a nice time. We also visited Texas one winter with another couple in our RV's. Had a great time.
So happy for you. I love when I see those markers go down.
But I just picked a new oncologist that is in my town and goes to the hospital in town. She does not believe in tumor markers😟she goes by petscan. But it saves me the trip to Newark all the time.
Hope they keep going down for you. It is a reason to celebrate.
