I received a txt first 9 days ago, then a letter on the 26th march. I have been on taxol weekly chemo for over a yr now. Got a stable scan 3 weeks ago. So they have now stopped chemo and put me on anastrazole for a month because of corona virus. Not been told what happens after that or when next appt is. Do any of you ladies take daily anastrazole? As I started yesterday. Wondering if there are any side effects I should look out for? Stay safe.

good morning..I have not been on this site in quite some time but i always read it. my hopes and prayers for you that you have the same results as me.I have been on anastrozole for 6 years and NED for about 5 years 3 months. I had a single met to my iliac wing. The only side effects i had were some fatigue and some joint pain..very doable for me..i dont know if it matters but i have been using the same manufacturer zydus. One time early on i used a different manufacturer and i had night sweats and extreme fatigue.my Dr put in a request for it to only be filled with zydus..so i would say to try and do this if possible. stay healthy..and hope all goes well !!
bc mets to right pleura dx in July 2015. treatment: Ibrance 75mg ( 14 days on/14 days off), Lupron injection quarterly, and Anastrozole 1mg daily (every other day when on Ibrance). NEActiveD since March 2016. Anastrozole side effects are joint pain, bone density change, and exacerbated arthritis; use Chinese medicine and homeopathic medicine for it, as well as continue to exercise.
I've been on it for over 6 years. Achy joints and hot flashes. Easily worked around. I found walking daily for the joints really takes care of that and I'm just used to the hot flashes.
