I’m going in today as well...bloods denosumab and pick up my Afinitor

While the bloods are being analysed I won’t hang around in the hospital but will go for a walk...there are some woods nearby and they’re quite isolated

All the best

Hi Barb

Hope all goes well at your appointment today. I will be thinking of you.

My bloods are due on Monday at Wexham Park Hospital & I see the Oncologist on Tuesday at Windsor.

I’m going to wear gloves & a clean cotton scarf that I can lift up over my nose & mouth if needed. I will also take antibacterial gel & wipes.

I’m a bit scared, whilst I’m usually fast tracked for bloods the waiting area is always very busy.

As for the oncology appointment I usually wait around 2 hours in a very crowded long corridor for a 5 minute consultation.

My bones are stable and small decrease in liver met so that’ll do me!!

Hope yours goes well Monday

Can you wander off while you’re waiting for bloods and not be stuck in the waiting room...I did that...and there was a bench to sit on outside

Hi Sarah. I just finished my Cycle 18 on Ibrance. For now, the Dr. ordered to stop the new cycle by preventing the coronavirus. Yes indeed I have had many different side effects. They have been different month to month. The main one is that the blood values of the immune system drop dramatically. I have had constipation, diarrhea, hyper dryness of the mucosa and skin, fatigue, mouth sores and I stopped counting. The important thing here is that you feel active and positive that your treatment will work. Each side effect has some way to minimize it. Always have contact with your oncologist who can help you. This group of ladies is wonderful. Here we all support each other to maintain a good quality of life. When you have questions always ask someone will answer you. Many of us continue working. Faith that everything goes well. A big hug from Texas. 🎀🌹

Are thanks so much for getting back to me. I get so paranoid that some of the way I’m feeling is the cancer getting worse.

Sometimes I get a headache and sometimes tired. Other than that ok. It’s hard to say this is the same for everyone though. I’ve been taking it for a year now. Best wishes
