Just wanted to share some good news

This day Last year I found out my breast cancer had come back after nine years. Life looked bleak. However I am doing well with all tumours shrinking. Today a year later we have good news. Our daughter had her viva today and passed her Phd. This is her dressed for it as you always have to wear sub fusc for exams at Oxford. Looking forward to her graduation and wedding next year.

It is so uplifting to hear good news. Life does not have to be bleak and miserable for us once we receive this diagnosis, but it can still continue and provide us with reasons to be happy.
