Good morning All Happy Thursday. So I met with my oncologist yesterday and according to him Piqray is a sort of a chemo drug It is a immunotherapy drug similar to Keytruda works with your immune system to fight and kill the cancer cells. There are a lot of nasty side effects (not saying I will have them all) but it does have me a little nervous. My husband passed away a little over a year ago with stage 4 lung cancer and he was treated with Keytruda that didn’t work for him but I know that our battle with cancer is our own individual battle. I don’t start the treatment until next week so I will let everyone know how it goes. He did tell me that they have a 92 yr old lady that is on Piqray and she is doing great. Time will tell Have a Blessed day and stay strong

Hi Lilian, I’m wishing you the best of luck with the Piqray!! I’ve heard some good things from people so hopefully the side effects will be manageable and you’ll get some good results!! Keep us posted!!

Thanks Lisa I am hoping for good results as well I beat breast cancer 15 years ago and hoping for the same here. I will check in as the days go on

Wish you the best on it. I am going for the test next week to see if u have mutation. In the meantime starting xeloda next week. Because of all the complications I have had dr agreed to 7 days on 7 days off. It was too close a call with the ibrance reaction.
