Dr called me today with pet scan results. Treatment is working- ibrance/faslodex/cygeva. No new Mets- no progression. Decreased activity in most tumors and many are forming sclerotic tissue (healing?!). He can’t explain pain in my ribs where there are 2 but they are stable. Okay. I have to deal with rashes, and I am grateful in spite of that, it’s working.
Thank you all for caring, supporting me- I could not do it as I do without you.
Love

I am so pleased for you! It is such a relief to get good news, isn't it? It makes living with this disease bearable when we have good days like this to celebrate! Are you planning to celebrate? I normally like to go out for a meal when I have had good results.
It took a while really. Started ibrance 75 mg in nov 2018. Rocky start with 2 sinus infections. Mri in April mixed results. This pet scan was july5th. So for me about seven months.
Awe yes♥️Was with my lil boo who is 2 1/2 today. So happy I can relax a little and enjoy him not worrying about how long I will have for my baby grandson. Thank you♥️♥️
I have pain, although not bad, in my ribs ever since I began this MBC journey. My cancer began in the lining of my left lung which agitated my plueral fluid. The plueral fluid has been gone for a long time and the cancer subsided. But, there is scar tissue of that part of the lining. Because it is scar tissue, It is not able to move in the same way the lung could beforehand. Therefore, I have a weird pain all the time on that side and it alwys feels like it is my ribs.
I'm keeping you in my prayers and thank God that the fluid has not returned. That's annoying, i had to deal with the plural effusion a few times and it's the worst. Stay positive..❤❤❤
Me too honey, it's so annoying. I'm keeping you in my prayers. Do some deep breathing exercises, that will help as well. Push on the top of your abdomen and count to ten and blow out. Let me know if it helps. If i learn of any more tips i will let you know.
