Back in march I found a lump in my right breast, it was in exactly the same place as the lump in my left breast which was diagnosed as bc in 2016. I went to see the oncologist and was told that with my medical history it was unlikely to be anything else other than cancer. He told me to monitor the size of the lump and it would be reviewed in June. He thought the meds might get rid of it.
Well I went back to see him in June. I could still feel the lump but the registrar couldn't find it but still referred me for an ultrasound scan, which I had today. The scan showed a fatty lump and no cancer! He thinks that there was probably an infection in one of the ducts which led to the formation of a fatty lump. I am so relieved!!! 😊

You must be so relieved! There are other things that could be the matter other than cancer, so doctors should not immediately assume that's what every lump or bump is. But I can see their point of view considering your medical history. I am glad they were proven wrong for your sake though.
I am hugely relieved! I've spent the last 4 months worrying that the meds had stopped working, the oncologist was so definite that it was cancer. I know they have to consider costs but I wish they could have given me the ultrasound scan back in march.
Hi Sandra, thanks for remembering. Yes I still have the headache. The ct scan gave enough information to rule out anything sinister though I haven't had the MRI results yet. I'm booked to see the cranial osteopath but she is away on holiday at the moment. I'm really looking forward to seeing her and trying to find out what's causing them But at least I've had 2 lots of good news in the last 2 weeks 😊
Great news I have been offline for a week, I am trying to catch up on 90 emails. C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E, with your loved ones, and I hope pray we will here more great news from our sisters/warriors. X0X0X0X0X0
