continued pain

my bone mets started in my pelvis last November. have been on ibrance and faslodex since then. - having an aching discomfort in same area that doesn't seem to go away. Do you think that means the drugs are not working or does it take a long time for bones to heal? Starting to worry!

I really don’t think you can pin down the pain to anything

It may be the bone mets healing or side effects from the drugs

I’m also on denosumab..a bone strengthening injection and that sometimes makes my pain worse

Your scan will tell your oncologist what’s happening..do you have one booked?

I’ve had pain for a year now even though my bone mets are stable..some ladies never have pain at all with their mets

Try not to worry..hard I know!!!

Like the rest of the replies, it could be a number of things. I had a nagging ache on my right pelvis too for months, but I am convinced at that time, it was the site of my bone biopsy. Then it went away, and a pain developed on my upper right hip bone, which went away in a couple of months. Recently it was my lower pelvic area again for three months; it's now gone away. Some of you I've read have had pain that traveled from spot to spot. It's crazy, but I am always relieved when it's gone. Sometimes I think it might be inflammation to some spots. Exercise, particularly stretching those areas definitely helps.

I hope you feel better soon and that Ibrance is still working. Blessings Hannah
