Magic mouthwash

I don’t know if this will be helpful or not but hopefully it will be. My oncologist wrote a script for the magic mouthwash, which has to be compounded. My insurance does not cover compounds so the search was on for cheapest place. I found that CVS was cheapest at $12.58 and a Walgreens was going to charge over $ 70! It’s a shame that they would do this. I guess they know we are in so much pain we will pay whatever to get relief. I hope everyone is blessed, fighting and finding hope. Blessings to all.

I was also prescribed this but they wanted over 80 for it so thank you I will try CVS.

Also there are prescription coupons on the internet that will help also when insurance does not cover the cost.

You can apply to good rx for free and get a card that will help to discount many perscriptions. Hopefully this would help.

Like you, I got the ingredients and mix as needed. It’s only good for 5 days after compounding.

Liquid antacid, Malone or similar product.

Liquid Benadryl, or similar.

Lidocaine, you need a script. Mix in equal amounts. Works great.

The pharmacist at Roswell gave me the recipe.

Yes. Keep it in your mouth as long as you can. They said to swallow it, but I don’t.
