Hello ladies! I hope that you all has a fabulous coronation weekend like I did. I got coronation breakfast tickets to Pilgrim Museum where I volunteer. Had a few friends sleep over since it was a 6am start. They had the festivies up in the big movie screen and served a big English breakfast with clotted cream even!
Now that I just got a good 1st scan after 6 months on xeloda , Rick and I (with much trepidation) are going to visit our son next week who lives in Switzerland. First scan shows liver Mets still small and bladder neck thickening improved and not much ascites. Not sure how durable this response will be but seems to be working now. So despite very sore feet, and various aches and pains . I am going to see my son!
I don’t think things will get better than what we have right now and we have the dog sitter lined up for 3 weeks so the time is now…. Still any one on an effective dose of xeloda would be worried about all that walking with burning feet. Luckily my great oncologist had encouraged me to drop the dose by one pill per day just for one cycle. I will let you know how it all goes!
