New to MBC, diagnosed early December, conflict with original oncologist. Now with one I have all the confidence in.

Went through bc and mastectomy in2003 and 2008. Fine till Mar of 2018. Thought all through 2018 needed hip replacement. Wrong MRI and all other show widespread cancer in bones, connect the dot type in spine, hips and skull. Luckily not in organs. Waiting on radiologist eval, and waiting to start Verzenio and Letrozole. This website has been helpful in a semi understanding of what to expect.

When I was diagnosed again I went back to my original oncologist which I had to leave for insurance reasons. He is great and I feel so comfortable with him. Glad you were able to find someone you are comfortable with. It's so important as we have to work with them constantly.

My best to you and this is a great site with lots of great women supporting each other.

Take care,

Kim

Jjbrist, the doctor-patient relationship is so fundamental: glad you have a happy partner!

Sounds like you, like so many, discovered METS in process of trying to solve what you thought was another problem. Though not welcome news, still grateful for you that you can now get on the path to healing. Blessings.

Sorry to hear that its back ..sure hope they get on it asap. Mine came back in less came 3yrs. Had in right breast..had tumor removed .30 bouts off radiation. Infection after radiation for 10 months..horrbile .. But then this yr past in July and August was having a lot off pain in my chest .went to hostipal cause was thinking it was heart related ..but not so.. Showed up cancer in lungs ..hip spine and everywhere ..Was shocked with the news..but i have become a stronger person and learned a lot .. But saying all that it does not take the pain and damn Cancer away. Hope my treatments help ..my lungs have stablized but bones have got worst. Wishing you all good vibes and ask questions.
