Back pain on ibrance and fulvestrant

Hi. Has anyone developed middle back pain on these meds. This is new after treatment started. I’m gettin sorta nervous that cancer spread from iliac to spine

Hi mariann, I have been off ibrance for 12 days. I was sick if you remember. Friday I had my faslodex and xgeva shots. Wow, this series was the worst. Pain everywhere, especially my bad knee right down the leg to my toes. Elsewhere also. Yes in my back but I have cancer in my spine. I woke up Monday morning with severe numbness and tingling all the way down my arm. Nurse told me to go to ER because the shots couldn't cause neuropathy to grt worse. Went to my local hospital is not a good thing but I didn't want to drive an hour. Tge ER dr said heart is fine but I needed a scan. He thinks maybe cancer has spread to my brain. My Oncologist is taking care of setting up an mri. If it has spread to my brain I will probably discontinue everything. Quantity of life is important to me. These treatments are taking their toll. Sorry I didn't have an answer.

Where did your cancer show up first?

2013. Then 14 months ago my numbers started going up every time I had them checked. I was told they were still below normal so nothing was done. Ended up in er with severe pain. Scan showed cancer in right shoulder, spine, some ribs and front of hips.
