Does anyone take ginger root pills with the two treatments.

ASCO, the American Society for Clinical Oncology (doctors' group) has stated that GINGER is excellent for nausea and vomiting control. Also goes with anti-emetics. It is a food and doesn't interfere. I am the founder of all-volunteer nonprofit Annie Appleseed Project.

Friends help. There are online groups as well as this SHARE group to speak with. Do you take fish oil? Said to help 'depression' (actually defined as dealing with reality too much). Are you well enough to volunteer? Sometimes helping others makes us feel really good, that's what works best for me. Do you eat a plant-based diet? Are you avoiding too much added sugar, artificial colors/flavors, these cause us to be sad.

Do you want to volunteer with SHARE? Where are you located geographically? They are in NYC. If you wish to volunteer with my nonprofit Annie Appleseed Project, we send out our health-messaged postcards for distribution at cancer events, yoga studios, healthfood stores, etc.

Would like to volunteer. I am a social worker by profession in the health field. I live in Brooklyn and am not working at present. Would love to be able to help others going through this.

We would love to send you our health-messaged postcards that tell people a bit about who we are, and what we support. They can be dropped off at cancer clinics, health food stores, yoga studies, massage, etc. Wherever you see fit. If you agree, email me annieappleseedpr (at) aol.com with your street address.
