Just wondering if anyone has had to do this scan. things are definitely not working right and it is supposed to tell them what is going on. but from what I gather they need to do an injection to create the hardness right there in the office and then do the scan. it sounds like one of those things where they want witnesses in the room I will be talking to the doc but I am kind of bracing for impact . Not quite sure I am going to be OK with that and certainly I will tell them I need no extra observers if it comes to this.
penile doppler: Just wondering if... - Sensitive Issues ...
penile doppler
we're all sensitive about different things--I think I'd be more way of the injection than the observers! good luck!
Penile injections are not generally painful and can be an alternative to ED medications. OP . If a cure to a penile problem is wanted then people seeing your penis should not bother you. You do what you need to do. Look what women have to go through for their sexual health care!!!
I think that the fact that this is necessary does not negate the fact that it is a real issue. the idea of someone " seeing " it is not so much the issue. The handling the manipulation all those things in a room full of people is. the fact is that no one except my wife has EVER see my erection in action. That is a real thing for me in this. It maybe shouldn't matter but it does. If i find the courage, or strength, or whatever it takes it will be out of love for her not because I want to be able to use it. That would be a bonus I guess but I would never endure the anxiety simply for that reason.
I hope that it will never cause you great medical problems. Have you talked to your wife about whether any necessary healthcare professional can see and, where appropriate, handle your penis? I suspect it is not the usual male reasons like courage or strength or indeed that there is a less than rational fear. Who is going to want to see your penis in action? Sometimes it will be necessary for it to be erect and that will usually be medically induced. If your real fear is of it getting erect when somebody touches it then that is hardly a problem but a physiological reaction. It does not mean that you want to have sex with that person or is that your fear? I do wonder what goes on the minds of some men.
if it were not for a medical problem there wouldn't even be a discussion bud. but I think still I have not been clear. if a person is to take shots to produce an erection then they will necessarily have to figure out the required dose in the office. further, an ultrasound is generally required which is basically the same thing only longer. then you have to wait around until you can come back in and prove to them it has subsided. THEN you will be required to come back and do similar things for a time to be sure that the dose is just what it needs to be. IF they should make an error and you have an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours then you get a trip to the emergency foor where a whole NEW set of people will be examining and trying to make it quit and possibly doing HORRIBLE things there. for which more visits will be required.
so yes to me the risk feels very great. so far as what they may want or not want to see those things certainly enter in as well. having been forced into those situations more than I would ever care to be . I would never have to worry about it happening any other way than to have it induced. I would never find myself aroused in any medical setting. thank you for responding. thinking about what is going on in my head helps me to get closer to solving the need.
Happy to help. Getting you to a good outcome of your health issues is so important. We can become our own worst enemies at times. Take care of yourself and get to good health.
