penetrative sex during menopause

Question- my wife no longer likes me to penetrate further than about 1-2 inches, and that is when she allows me to get any where near her.. Is this normal? While I am not super sized (~6 inches), it is nice to be able to go the whole way. Do things go back to normal post menopause or is this the new normal?

Many women experience vaginal dryness during and after menopause. You could suggest she use an intimate lubricant to make things easier. Another option is sea buckthorn capsules, which contains Omega 7 to help the mucous membranes. Pharmanord uk is a good brand.

It shouldn't be. Encourage her to speak to Doc'. Don't pressure, encourage and support is the way through.

She might have pelvic organ prolapse. Check out this NHS link: nhs.uk/conditions/pelvic-or...

my wife won’t let me have sex since her menopause as it causes pain and her vaginal skin splits even with lube…..about 2yrs and counting now 😩
