Has anyone ever had a hernia after they had surgery to fix one? I had just seen a provider yesterday and she did not find any swelling or abnormal feel to the area. But I feel like the area is swollen on the inside of the muscles. Is there such a thing as an internal hernia? I will be going back to the surgeons assistant and hopefully she'll find out whether the original surgery failed in which i doubt because they used mesh to repair. Just throwing this out there to see if saying had experienced another hernia near the repaired one. TIA.
