bph- did you strain?

hi, i was diagnosed with bph early 2024 after going into retention.

before I started taking tamsulosin I found it very difficult to pass urine. On three occasions I strained to the point of passing out just to get a drop of urine out.

I’ve since been diagnosed with heart disease. I’m convinced excessive straining is responsible.

Unlikely heart disease has been caused by straining. You are presumably on the waiting list for some sort of procedure on your prostate? TURP, Aquablation, REZUM, Urolift?
