Has anyone used Alpha Logic Acid, or L Tyrosine to treat RLS/PLMD.

I just recently started using both Alpha Lopic Acid, as well as L Tyrosine Twice daily. So fare I can’t seen to tell if there working? But, at the same time I’m going through a very serious detox Protocol after being prescribed Kolonpine by two separate sleep doctors. I was on the Benzodiazepines for a total of four years, after exhausting all other RLS treatments. Mine is very debilitating. ****I have since moved on to Oycodone 5 mg every six hours, it is working well so far. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

L Tyrosine is mentioned in this previous chain, with no positive RLS reports from members: healthunlocked.com/rlsuk/po...

Of course, just because these Replies don't report positive results it doesn't mean that you won't benefit! We're all different!

(You can always search the RLS forum for previous entries by hitting the 'Posts' button above your question - see image -and then entering your keyword in the Search box.

You can also use the Search function magnifying glass at the very top of the page, and that will search ALL forums on the Health Unlocked platform)

if you end up having issues with oxy as I did

I suffered respiration depression and severe memory loss and augmentation

I could not speak to my family as I had no idea what they were saying. I was like a China doll

Check out of hospital in Australia when they wanted to put me on Amitriptyline .

Flew to NYC

Buprenorphine 2 mg Dr Glen Brooks New York saved my life.

I don’t think there are many vitamins or diets I have no t tried .

I had no luck with the above .

I am very cautious to only try one thing at a time even when I add a new vitamin or even a drink or medication,

I need to know for other health reasons not just Buprenorphine override.

I’ve tried both. Didn’t help.

I have used ALA for burning mouth syndrome with great success but have never heard of it for RSL.

I use oxycodone also and have for over 15 years. I've tried so many other medications and always come back to oxycodone. I take 4 of the 5 mg pills starting around 4 or 5 in the afternoon. I cut the 5 mg pills in half and take a half about every hour. My only issue with the oxycodone is it makes the top of my head itch but I can put up with that to have some peace and get some sleep.
