I’ve been taking an over-the-counter product called Garden of Life Raw Organic Fiber, and it has helped a lot.

I wouldn't take tramadol as the side effects are bad and it doesn't help if you take it long term, I take a magnesium tablet morning and night and it does stop you getting constipated and it's good for your heart, rubbing the soles of your feet on a spiky massage ball will help the rls. good luck.

I take Tramadol and it guard against constipation I drink Calm, a magnesium drink at night and I also take Herb Lax, which is a shaklee product but I know they sell herbal laxatives across the counter. Between those two things I don’t have any problems.

I have had success with starting the day with a large glass of water followed by a banana with my breakfast. Found that as I got older I forget to drink enough water. Starting the day with a large glass helps a lot. Water is key to having any success in solving the constipation dilemma. Oh, I also start the day with three teaspoons of Benefiber in my coffee.

I took Tramadol for quite a while for RLS and the side effect of constipation slowly went away. As a side note, Tramadol can cause some very nasty augmentation. Be careful. I am on Pregabalin now and no issues. Good luck.

I’ve been constipated my entire life. Or was. But a friend told me about Fiber One cereal. The kind that looks like little twigs, not flakes. It was a game changer. It really works! And it’s not bad tasting.
