Yes-- it works well.I make my own with equal measures of (not tap) water and magnesium ( epsom salts)

Rub it on and leave for 20 mins.

If it stings a bit , then just wash it off.

Mg is absorbed very well through the skin.

Good luck.

So.... if it doesn't sting, you just leave it on?

That's a really good money saving idea. Thanks for the advice. Will filtered tap water 💦. Do you think that will be ok? I will also give this a try 😊

I'm sure it would be ok.I'm just leery of the chlorine in tap water.

I used various forms of magnesium for several years, including magnesium malate tablets, magnesium oil, and magnesium cream. It worked fantastically for me for a while, then eventually stopped helping after a couple of years. However, as long as it lasted it was great.

I cant be sure if it works. I put the cream on before I get RLS. I rub it in for quite a while so I make sure it helps. I still wake up at night some times with rls.

I use magnesium spray. You can get it from Amazon, Holland and Barrett and other places. It only works for me once the restless legs has started. Usually at 2.30 in the morning. 10 sprays all over arms and legs and I’m usually good in 15 minutes. Doesn’t work for me as a preventative, only once the rls has started. No need to wash it off. Magnesium tablets don’t work for me although they have cured my migraines!

Maybe I'll try reapplying it once rls sets in.

Hi I have spray and gel, it stings quite a bit when I use it and honestly not sure if it really helps or not but still I use it in hope.

Agnesium is best absorbed through the skin rather than supplements. Bath salts are great as is spray/oil/cream.A very nice person in U.K. High Street health chain told me to make own spray. A small bottle of spray is about £8. A kilogram of salts is £5. Gently heat, not boil water in large pan. Add kilo of salts and stir until dissolved. Exactly the same as £8 bottle but you’ve made ten bottles worth in 15 minutes for £5!!! Pound shop does the spray bottles. For me magnesium really helps my RLS.

It was explained to me that we used to get enough magnesium from our fruit and veg. But with intensive farming over so many years it’s just not in the soil anymore.
