Weighted blanket

I am on day 6 of no mirapex after augmentation. It’s been a rough week, last night I slept for 6 hours straight. More than I’ve slept in a week combined. I used a weighted blanket. Whether or not it’s a coincidence, not sure but it may have just been the extra help needed. Worth a try! I mean what’s another $100 in the thousands I’ve spent over the last 11 years to get “rid” of this awful disease.

I find that on very cold nights, a heavy blanket will comfort me, whereas on warm summers night, I kick off the sheets. Either way ,it seems to lessen the rls.

I suppose it's the stress factor kicking in🤣.

Whatever works, works.

That seems to be a common theme on this site.

Cheers.

Is the weighted blanket still working for you? I think that I'm going to wean myself off my meds.

It seems to help. Tho I have to say I am still on gabapentin so not sure I could have done the weaning off mirapex without that as well
