Finally, I can say I'm happy with my weighted blanket. It's been several days without my legs bothering me and I've been sleeping well. It can't be a coincidence.
I thought it might help with fibromyalgia as I read somewhere, which I also suffer from, but that hasn't been the case. However, RLS is sooo bad that I've always said that I'd rather have fibro pain than the almost unbearable RLS.
If you RLS sufferers have the opportunity to get a weighted blanket, I advise you to get it.

I bought mine at Walmart for $49. It's 15 pounds--too heavy for a child but enough for me. It is quite warm, but for me, ineffective against RLS. Am very disappointed.
Would you put a link to where you bought yours from, please? There are lots on the market and it sounds as if yours works - I'm delighted for you - I'm up hourly night after night and would love some relief.
