Congrats on finding out what was wrong, at least now it can be sorted.
Hi Grant, hi had tramadol after my 1st knee replacement I was only on them for 6 weeks maximum , reducing them as no longer required, the only problem was when I tried to stop them completely, the side effects of coming of tramadol were not pleasant whole body skin itching, feeling really unwell, shaking, shivering, it eventually took me 6days of just stopping them, having no sleep skin itching, all the above issues. When I had my 2nd knee replacement I refused them, and for my condition rls a lot of people use them. You may not have the issues I did, I wish you well and a speedy recovery.

Oh Yikes - That is a big procedure. I'm glad the are not just dismissing you out of hand though... Let us know how things go..
