I second the iron. Not much to lose here provided you talk about it with your doctor - the iron that is. It works for me even though my iron stores are slightly over 100 which is pretty good for someone with RLS. Nonetheless, I take one or two 25mg capsules of ferrous bisglycinate (aka Gentle Iron) about an hour before bed on an empty stomach and I would not take the magnesium at the same time. You might be one of the lucky ones that gets immediate relief, meaning that night, or you might get relief in the long run. Or not at all, but then all you've lost is about $10.
