Hi there Blokie or Pippin am at my daughters BUT legs are playing up something awful ,do you think I could take another tab just for one night to see if I can get some sleep or is that the slippery slope of upping your tabs please reply x

If you have only taken your normal dose that you usually take then yes you could take another.You have been travelling so probably set them off.If I was in your situation at someone elses house and having an attack I would take another.You are still well within the daily dose allowed.Hope it settles ..pipos x

For future reference daily maximum dose is 400mg or 300mg if you are over 75 .Do not take more than 2 of your 50mg tablets at any one time x

Hi Beady, Blokie here I had to up my dosage on Friday night as my legs and right arm was giving me such a terrible time, I took 3 Tramadol in the space of one and half hours. So it would be OK for you to up your doesage, it's no good seeing your daughters visit spoilt. Take care Beady,my best wishes to you and your daughter .

Hi I think it is okay now and again. I certainly take an extra tablet on occasions when the pesky legs are particularly stubborn! X

Some say sleep is far mire important to ensure the body is able to fight off diseases.

Tramadol if it works for you is an ideal remedy even though now it is regarded as a controlled drug so my doctor was at pains to point out. But then he doesn't suffer from rls!!!

Suffering just one night that I can prevent is unacceptable for me. I suffered more than 30 years before someone accidentally discovered that Parkinsons meds made a difference. I have been on one drug and now a combination of drugs and a small hangover is better than a night of no sleep. Try taking maybe a half pill on top on the one and if it works tell your doc he or she just has to add to your schedule of drugs and if they refuse, find a new doc. Believe me at 78, life for me is too short to have to jump around all night rather than sleep.
