Hi, I've battled PLMS, legs only, for 20 years with some success and some rough periods. Its been hard at times, but generally manageable.
Lately, I have felt an internal vibration. It started when I was half asleep. It felt like the I had a vibrating bed. Now when I lay down and am still awake, I feel a buzz over my whole body. It lasts almost all night and I need Ambien(which I hate) to barely sleep at all. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it an intensification of as my periodic leg movements? Any advice? Thanks Chris

I too have experienced this. The first time was years ago and I described it as feeling like there was a pager inside my body going off. I had it off and on and then not for years. Maybe it was at the beginning of my RLS symptoms, I can’t renember. But lately, I’ve had again. And lately my RLS symptoms have been worse as I believe it’s from ropinirole augmentation. It’s just like a subtle shaking or vibration. This is a stressful nerve racking condition that I would not wish on anyone. I wish you well.
