Feel like a zombie!!

I take Requip and have been put on Pregabalin for nerve pain. I am tired all the time and when I asked my GP if I could come off the Pregabalin he suggested Amitriptyline!! What hope do I have when my GP doesn’t know what to suggest? Thanks for all the advice on HAYFEVER.

Hi Brenda.

My husband,s doctors have no idea how he feels and they are fed up of him.

He is on Ropinirole with the usual augmentation issues.

All drugs seem to do is give you brain fog and dizziness and sleepiness.

How do you cope with side effects of your drugs.

Hi Goodfairy,

I find heat helps me so I stand with my back to the fire or a radiator or take a bath. Cold makes it worse so I try to keep my feet and legs warm. I used to take Ropinirole but when it started to be less effective I asked my GP for Requip. I think it is slightly different , even if it is just in my head, and have been fine ever since. Don’t want to use really strong meds unless I have to in the future. Also play Solitaire on my iPad or iPhone and find concentrating helps if I feel my legs begin to twitch!! Hope you have some tips that help when the going gets tough!!
