RLS Documentary on Channel 5

I saw someone post about this TV documentary that was to air April 4th, I believe. Since I don't live in the UK, I was not able to watch it, but the website said they would have it for viewing. I just tried going into the Channel 5 website to watch it and I can't find it. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

If it's the same one-- don't be wasting your time. Not a fair representation of current RLS experience or practice.

Oh, good to know. Thanks! Now I won't feel bad that I missed it. :-)

Didn’t give any help on drugs or anything either. Just showed how it affected people ie in their daily lives - thrashing about in bed, trapping their feet in doors etc to stop the pain. Waste of time if you wanted any help.

I saw that programme too...was absolutely useless to us sufferers although it did paint an accurate picture of the condition for those non sufferers who think we make a fuss over nothing.

Get a VPN set it for the UK then try the channel 5 player - you can get a free VPN:

Like most of us I looked forward to this documentary, counted down the days in fact, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment and a wasted opportunity. If anything the makers managed to trivialise this awful condition, and if I'd been a person without RLS I believe I would have thought, what's all the fuss about? I felt utterly despondent after seeing it, especially as I'd written to my GP practice asking them to watch it, and I ended up hoping they hadn't. So don't worry, you didn't miss anything.

That is a shame! I suffer so much even though I am on meds and see a neurologist. It still is ruining my life. It is torture and so hard to explain to others what I am dealing with. No one can truly understand this unless they are suffering from it. I was hoping this documentary would show the world what we deal with, but it sounds like it wasn't that way at all.

the program was stupid and made all us sufferers seem daft, it was a waste of time, they had an hour and wasted the whole time just saying how some of us cope with it but offered on help .it made me shout at the telly
