RLS, question about vein clinics

Has anyone ever went to a vein clinic or had a ultrasound done on their legs to see if blood was flowing properly?

I currently take Requip and tho it is a miracle pill for my RLS it makes me so tired, once I take it within 30 min I'm down for the count. I'm aggravated because it is 8pm and I can't enjoy anything at night. In the morning by 5:30am I'm ready to conquer the world, but evenings are bad. Any suggestions. ? I have taken B12, iron supplements, and magnesium.

That is the effect I get from Ropinerole ( Requip). I take mine about 8.35 and go to bed before 10pm. Have you tried taking it a bit later?

I have tried to even cut it in half but when my legs start dancing they just have a mind of their own so I break out the Requip. I wish I could wait til 11 or later,I would accomplish more but I can't.

RLS is nothing to do with how your blood flows, that would indicate a circulation problem. The vein thing for RLS has been around a long time, and people who have had vein treatment still have RLS.

I switched from requip to mirapex but both caused me to be spacey. I augmented after some time on the mirapex so I no longer take those meds. I remember thinking it was a miracle drug. I hope it stays that way for you. I have been off for 2 years but still suffer from it’s effects (DAWS). Definitely don’t want to be a downer just feel many are not informed. Good luck!
