I have been on Neupro for 2 months and have had constant nausea. Has anyone else who is using the Neuro patch had any issues with nausea. I've had multiple GI tests all of which have been negative.

Nausea with Neupro
MINE MAKES BE TERRIBLY SICK IF I TAKE IT BY IT'S SELF
BUT MINE IS ROPENOROL...WITHOUT IT THE SLEEP MEDICINE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL
I had really bad nausea from the 2 other dopamine agonists and had to stop. I am now on the patch, which gave me nausea at the beginning, which I controlled with anti-nausea tablets. After about 6 weeks the nausea wore off and has been ok ever since.
I hope this helps.
Thanks. I am hoping it stops soon.
dancer, i dont know what country you live in. I am in the UK, and i have used domperidone for nausea prescribed by my doctor. It doesnt make my RLS worse, as you have to be care when taking any anti-nausea as they can ramp up your RLS.
Hang on in there if you can. I couldn't manage Ropinirole or Pramipexole but I have been on Neupro for about 9 months and not had any problems
Ginger is a remarkably effective anti-emetic and well worth a try. You can use fresh ginger, finely chopped and then squashed to release juices steeped in hot water and a bit of honey - it's actually delicious. You can also use ready made ginger teas or crystalised ginger or even buy it in pill form from a health food shop.
