RLS getting better

Has anyone experienced it getting better

I had the leg daily multiple times a night and have been on gabapentin for a year. Recently it has been only once and often not at all at night. Are there any stats on remission or cured?

Probably remission but not cured.

It may be that your diet or other medication has changed in that timeframe??

My RLS was atrocious last year after I came off 1.5mg daily mirapexin in May. It has improved a lot in the last six months. I attribute it to getting my iron levels much higher - from 25 to 79. I would say my symptoms are now less bad than they were 10 years ago when I first started taking mirapexin. I don't think they will actually disappear altogether sadly. Within two weeks of stopping taking the oral iron my serum ferritin started to drop and symptoms disimproved again.
