Just a quick one to say Freddie has responded to treatment and is out of danger. He has been walking and eaten for first time in 5 days. Thankyou everyone for your support, I am doing a happy dance! ..Pippins2 x

I know how you feel Pipps , may you have a full and happy life with him.

Our wonderful Bella, a Rough Haired Collie, had a stroke when she was 10 years old. The vet didn't hold out much hope for her but we never gave up.

Apart from a little weakness in her back leg and a few bouts of what I can only describe as "momentary confusion", she made a pretty complete recovery, we had her for another 5 happy years.

We've had 2 wonderful dogs during our marriage. The fun, love companionship and exercise we had with both was life enhancing !

We wouldn't have traded a minute of it (sloppy I know - but true)
